Holiday Club 2023
Holiday Club 2023 Encanto is now firmly behind us and we are so grateful to God for His provision of the means, the leaders and the many many children who came through our doors for the five wonderful days of ministry.
While the Next Generation team put on Holiday Club, it was really the army of volunteers that made Holiday Club the wonderful success that it was. To the lovely ladies who spent a week cutting and folding every flower you saw in the Street, our check-ins team who arrived every day at 6:45am to safely check-in kids, the volunteers who gave up mornings to get crafts ready and do last minute shop dashes and then of course – the amazing volunteer team of youth and youth leaders – THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU! And of course to the RUC staff team who put up with the constant joyful noise of kids and the mess of holiday club – which spilled into our offices! Thank you to everyone who made this event possible.
It was a beautiful picture of the body of Christ coming together here at Rosebank Union Church to love and minister to the kids that God brought through our doors. The hard work of all these people was a blessing to the children, and also a blessing to parents, caregivers and families who not only could drop their kids off for a week of fun but also their kids got to learn valuable lessons about God, His plan for their lives and the Gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Please join us in prayer as we pray for the kids and youth who were impacted by this years Holiday Club. Please be praying that the seeds that were sown will bear Gospel fruit that will echo into eternity. I am encouraged by the words from Isaiah 55:10-11
“For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Please join us in prayer as we pray for these young people who have heard the Gospel. Pray that they will join us on Sundays, that the families who do not yet know Jesus will come to know Him through their children inviting them to church. Please lift this next generation of believers up in prayer.
